New RIM Software Release
NAID Vendor Member DHS Worldwide Software Solutions of Orange
Park, FL announces the release of Total Recall SQL Version 7. 7
and Total Recall ENVISION Version 1. 7. As a provider of records
and information management (RIM) software, they are happy to
introduce over 50 major features and enhancements with this
release to RIM professionals.
Total Recall SQL 7. 7 - Includes all new automatic email notifications,
including notifications for individuals who have items retrieved
past their due date. Eight additional fields have been added in the
Total Recall Prospective Client Tool, designed to help better track
new leads and win new business, and an enhanced customer search
feature now allow users to search by any user defined field value in
a single FBU or across multiple FBU’s.
Total Recall ENVISION 1. 7 - Includes new features designed to help
increase efficiencies throughout the dispatching process. A new
rapid work order print option has been added to the Dispatch
Management Screen, supporting single or multi-print reporting
options. The Dispatch Management Screen also supports the ability
to reorder the grid columns and set the width of each column based
on the user’s preference. In addition, Version 1. 7 features a new
Driver Log feature, providing the ability to record a driver’s hours
and mileage on the handheld scanner.
Acquisition in Maine: Records Management Center
and ShredSafe, LLC have Acquired Shredding
NAID Certified Member, Records Management Center, a Bangor-based provider of data storage, document scanning, and
confidential shredding throughout Maine and New Hampshire,
along with ShredSafe, LLC, have announced the acquisition of a
Waterville-based NAID Member company, Shredding On Site. The
combined teams are integrating to operate secure on-site document
and e-media destruction services, retaining all staff, equipment,
and service scheduling. The name Shredding On Site is also being
retained, and will be used as the name for the on-site document
destruction services arm of the business.
“This move significantly enhances the capabilities and reach
of our confidential destruction services, helping our customers
improve compliance while reducing costs,” said Ryan Lynch, vice
president of Records Management Center and Shredding On Site.
“As one company and team we are able to offer better value to our
customers, through stronger security and compliance, streamlined
scheduling, greater geographic coverage of on-site shredding, and
an enhanced suite of information management services available
under one umbrella.”
Lynch says that customers of the combined businesses can expect
to continue to work with trusted, trained, and professional shred
truck drivers for on-site shredding services. Shredding On Site
and Records Management Center are certified by the National
Association for Information Destruction (NAID), ensuring security
and compliance specifications are followed closely.
Other services available through Records Management Center will
continue under the same business name. Records Management
Center services include records and data storage, document
scanning, and courier services.
Electronics Waste Recycler Expands to Hi-Tech
Consolidation Facility in New Jersey
With five facilities having obtained NAID AAA certification and the
rest undergoing the certification process, ERI has its eye on the
prize. This includes launching a new state-of-the-art consolidation
facility in New Jersey. The new facility in Lincoln Park will occupy
53,500 square foot and currently be utilized as a high-tech
consolidation center, but will soon be converted to full-service
electronics waste processing facility.
John S. Shegerian, Chairman and CEO of ERI noted that the
company is excited to launch its New Jersey operation at such an
ideal location. The new location meets standards in environmental
and operational excellence and will enable the company to enhance

As part of expanding its portfolio beyond electronics recycling,
Electronics Recyclers International had recently rebranded itself
into ERI. The company had announced expansion of its services to
include more services such as recommerce, recovery, reporting and
ERI is licensed to de-manufacture and recycle televisions, computer
monitors, computers and other types of electronic equipment.
